DE ANDERE KANT VAN DE AFSLUITDIJK / SHORT FILM (in production)

Narrative

When 17-year-old Thijs loses his mother in a tragic accident, he is reluctantly sent to live with his estranged grandfather Rients on the Frisian countryside. Their worlds clash constantly, and whenever memories of Thijs’s mother surface, both Thijs and Rients avoid the conversation. The silence between them grows heavy.
